  • How do I book?
    We have an online booking system which can be found here: https://book.e-res.net/page/CoddyShack Alternatively you can speak to a member of the team by calling 01503 263091
  • Do you take group bookings?
    Yes, we do. However, you will need to call and speak with the team 01503 263091 or send and email to coddyshack@gmail.com . You cannot book for more than 6 via the online system. *To secure all reservations of 6 guests and over, valid credit or debit card details are required. Cancellations to tables of this size require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations can be made by clicking the 'Cancel booking' button on your email confirmation. Without such notice, we reserve the discretion to charge a cancellation fee of £15 per head to your card. If we are able to resell your cancelled table, we will always waive our cancellation fee.
  • What's your cancellation policy?
    To secure all reservations credit or debit card details are required. No charges are made to your card to secure the booking, and your details are encrypted and stored securely in line with PCI DSS. Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations can be made by clicking the 'Cancel booking' button on your email confirmation. Without such notice, we reserve the discretion to charge a cancellation fee of £15 per head to your card. If we are able to resell your cancelled table, we will always waive our cancellation fee.
  • Can I purchase a gift voucher?
    Absolutely! Gift vouchers can be found on the homepage of our website www.coddyshack.com or you can click the link here: https://voucher.e-res.net/page/CoddyShack Please note gift vouchers are e-vouchers, you will not receive a physical voucher by post, you will receive it via email.
  • Do you cater for dietary requirements?
    We will do our best to cater for dietary requirements, please let us know when booking and speak with your server before ordering. We have the capability to modify certain dishes to reduce gluten content, however, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide entirely gluten-free options. For individuals with celiac disease, we strongly advise against dining with us due to safety concerns. Our traditional batter, which contains gluten, is prepared on-site, resulting in a high likelihood of cross-contamination within our premises.
  • Do you allow dogs?
    We're pawsitively pet-friendly during the day, so feel free to bring your fur babies along for brunch or lunch. However, due to our cosy venue in the evening, we'll be going dog-free after 5 PM.
  • Do you offer venue hire?
    Certainly! The rental fees will fluctuate depending on the season and day of the week. It's important to note that the venue rental cost is determined based on the potential revenue loss from our regular operations.
  • Where do we park?
    The Coddy Shack has its own car park directly outside the building. Vehicles are left at your own risk. Management do not take any responsibility for damage, accidents or losses. We kindly request that you do not park where there is a 'No Parking' sign, this includes the main frontage of The Coddy Shack and the entrance to the site. These areas need to be kept free from obstruction to allow traffic to safely flow in and out.
  • Do you have disabled access?
    We have disabled access into The Coddy Shack building, however access to the site is an uneven surface. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet opposite The Coddy Shack in another building.
  • Can we pre order for takeaway?
    We don't offer a pre order service I'm afraid. All of our food is cooked fresh to order to maintain the quality.
